A friend of mine has a cute little baby (a bit over 1 year now) and I haven’t seen her for some time. After I finally managed to call her we decided to do a picnic. The “litte one” has quite developed since I have seen him the last time and really cute. Trying to tell a lot of stuff in half baby, half words language and running like a race car.

Picnic with the little one
*Grrrrr*
The old sloughter-house
In Simmering, the 11th district of Vienna, there is an area with old sloughter houses. The area is called St. Marx and the famous Gasometer are nearby. Most of the old buildings there are already torn down or renovated when we visited today. Some of the buildings are more new, I guess from the 1980s and they just started demolishing. So K. and I went in and did some photos. We had some fun playing with the light and the structures that were still left.
Laaerberg
On our usual afternoon walk over the Laaerberg and the surrounding fields we met Yuma and her owner and the other dogs belonging to her pack. Linux normally not so extremly interested in other dogs fell deep “in love” with Yuma. Thankfully her owner Brigitte did some really nice Photos and allowed me to post them – have a look (clicking on the photo will open a link to the photoset).
The old dog and his owner
Just some blocks to our left lives an older man and his husky (one with 2 different colored eyes). The man wears round glasses with a thick red frame, looking a bit like a tired owl. Also the husky is old and a bit round and walks very slowly behind its owner. We know each other from seeing us from time to time when walking our dogs. Once Balu, as the dog is called, smelled Linux or maybe just saw him on the other side of the stried, he started crossing the road to tell this young greenhorn a lesson 🙂 Continue reading ‘The old dog and his owner’
A visit from the girls
I was visited by the the girls recently. Actually I promised to take H’s dogs for a night. A Dober(wo)man and a pinscher. Both cute and nice and no problem. Ratte had a special surprise for their owner ;-).
Photosession
K. and I did a photosession together, we had some great fun…I was in front of the camera, something which can’t work out right 😉
So this is what came out of the idea: “You have ten minutes, do what you want!”
Me making faces – lots of them…have a look!
Do you like it?
The old train station cargo
Vienna is building a central train station. The former South-train-station will be remodeled and the cargo area will become a new living and recreation area. So they are breaking down the old houses and ware-houses there. Huge piles of all kinds of stuff is lying around and it looks like after an earthquake. In the middle there is an old tower, which I like best. Before everything is gone I needed to go there again and take some photos. For sure Linux and Oni came with me. We had a lot of fun. Ratte was climbing up the tower for some photos.
Have a look.
Krähennachtrag
Ein Morgensternscher Nachruf für einen unbekannten Krah.
r.i.p nr.2
